True North bridal studio is one of those special places that offers a tranquil, free-spirited aura like Katee Scoblic the owner, who mirrors that same energy.
We were greeted with open arms as soon as we entered her cozy and eclectic bridal studio. Once in, it was nearly impossible to not look in every direction, finding inspiration and beauty everywhere. Each corner of her studio is perfectly curated with unique vintage finds, handmade decor and personal touches like the embroidery hoop art shown in photos below.
You can feel the energy when you are in the space and how her decor shapes each room. It all speaks to what she would like her brides to embody and connect with.
She offers a variety of gowns that are all made in the USA by highly sought after Indie designers with some specializing in eco-friendly designs.
Katee explains her shop as being a “haven for the spirited bride.” One who feels she is wild and free, connecting with boho-chic fashion and eager to explore the limitless lines of self expression. Each dress tells its’ own story and helps the bride do the same on her wedding day.
If you are looking for a more intimate and private space to find your dress you are in luck!
True North is run on private appointment services which lets you have the space all to yourself – making the stress of choosing the perfect dress less distracting and that much easier.
Below are some of the many wonderful moments we were able to capture.
You might even see a few snaps of Sarah and myself playing dress up!
Stay tuned for some Nixie/True North collaborations!
