Le Express happens to be one of our favorite restaurants in the area and when we heard they were participating in Dining Out for Life , where up to 25% of your bill is donated to help Hudson Valley residents living with HIV/AIDS, our normal Wednesday night was going to get a lot tastier!
From the copper penny floor under the bar that gives a touch of sparkle as you walk in, to the unique hanging window panes that separate the bar and dining room, this place offers an ambiance that is particularly charming.
The French American Bistro inspired menu offers dishes like Croque Madame (I have had the Croque Madame inspired special where they put freshly shaved truffles on top – Delicious!), Escargot and Duck Confit just to name a few!
One of the best things about this place are the specials. They change frequently and stay true to what’s in season often sourcing their ingredients from local farms. The greens in the Kale salad were from Obercreek Farms, right down the road in Hughsonville, NY.
Check out their website for CSA information!
This was a great mid-week break that got us out of the office to support a great cause while eating delicious food!
