If you’re looking for something different to do in the Hudson Valley area, the Dia: Beacon is definitely a spot you should explore.
My cousin Rina, who is an artist herself, was in town visiting from Tel Aviv, Israel and my father wanted to show her the space.
Dad and Rina picked me up and we ventured over to the galleries.
It was beautiful and sunny but the air was SO cold! It was a perfect day to explore an indoor space.
You are not allowed to take photos inside so I took as many interesting photos that I could outside.
You will just have to go there to see for yourself!
He hates denim.
After checking out the gallery we went over to Beacon Bread Company to grab a bite to eat – one of Dad’s new favorite spots.
(In-House Salmon Lox plate please!)
And because Cousin Rina was from out of town (or country), she wanted to make sure she had copies of all the photos we took.
Whenever we took a picture she would stop us in our tracks to make us e-mail it to her. Right then and there.
And selfies?! Her favorite.
Have you ever seen a warmer, more beautiful smile?!
